MY STORY

I've always had an insatiable appetite for food, art and books. I was raised by a stern single mother and as the eldest of six siblings, I learned from very early, the value of hard work, humility and how to dodge the back end of a pot spoon at lightning speed. These days I'm far less agile but still able to multitask with a mad degree of expediency.. a definite plus in our instantaneous world of digital media. My childhood passions invariably led me into a career spanning over twenty five years in advertising, marketing, publishing and the culinary arts. From 2011 to 2019 I secured the production and publication of a food & lifestyle quarterly magazine for one of the largest retailers in the Caribbean. This project was a culmination of my love for local and international cuisine, recipe development, photography, conceptualization, layout and design and copy writing. I worked with some of the largest distributors in the Caribbean and major international food labels such as Waitrose of the UK.  I look forward to sharing the rest of my story with you.
